EX 410 MX-Gespann

A very special rariety: Kramer MX-Sidecar based on a EX 410 (Kramer/HMT); reportedly only three units were handcrafted. Upper frame section is made of square tube as well as the basis of the rear swingarm. For the rear swingarm obviously the one from the PDS models was combined with Cantilever to gain necessary stiffness. For the front wheel a swingarm fork was built which is still standard in sidecars today. The petrol tank was widened to have space for the new upper frame section and to get more fuel in for compensation of higher fuel consumption. Front and rear wheel travel was cut compared to solo versions and the bike was fully equipped with Bilstein dampers.
As far as I know the bike was built by a former Kramer/HMT employee who used it himself. Drivability was far from being good and so the sidecar was parked forever very soon. This also is shown by the very good condition of the engine and all palstics.
