This LR 250 is owned by Wolfgang Schwarz, the former Maico and Kramer dealer in Hanau. This bike was used by him during his active career and was restored by him and Wolfgang Buettner. Interesting at this bike is the 35mm Marzocchi fork (insted of 38mm) and the long rear swingarm, but still with the chain tensioner instead of the later simple chain guide.
Because of these specialties the bike was probably built in 1979.
