Models 1982
Here a document almost from the last period of the company 'Kramer Motorradbau'. Fritz Kramer already had sold and left the company because of economical reasons and the signature of the new owner Peter Heuser (keyword 'PDS') came to sight.
The competitiveness in racing is impressively shown by the long list of successes sololy from 1981 when still all models - which surely had been developed during 1980/91 - have been penned by Fritz.
The inner side of the brochure shows the models for 1982. As you see the MX models have already been altered to the all-new, but reportedly not long-living PDS system (Parrallel-Double-Swingarm) and have changed name from 'LR' to 'EX'. This new typeof rear suspension invented by Peter Heuser should offer a progression in rear travel.
Fritz Kramer itself had a readily developed progressive suspension system in his shelf, but this never came to life. Role model for this system was a Suzuki-RM with Full Floater which then was bought by Kramer to take a closer look.
Both GS types still show the typical cantilever swingarm which mainly contributed to the excellent riding rigidity of the Kramer. Only altered in details was this the main feature of all Kramer-Rotax and Kramer-Maico models right from the beginning.
